About Us | Our Story
Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism charity that has been growing since 1995 when footballer Shaka Hislop donated £50 to a local anti-racism campaign in Newcastle upon Tyne. Show Racism the Red Card is now active in the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Ireland. The charity was formally launched in Ireland in 2006.
We produce anti-racism educational resources, including our video resources, an education pack, factsheets, downloadable interactive resources and online training. These are all used to help tackle racism. We also deliver programmes that promote integration.
Our programmes:
- Anti Racism Education Workshops & Training
- Anti Racism Creative Competition for Schools & Youth Services
- Wear Red Day Against Racism
- Football Against Racism in Europe actions
- Club Welcome for Refugees
