UEFA’s partner in the FARE campaign, (Football against Racism Europe) is staging a Fortnight of Action’ from October 16th to 28th.2008 marks the third year that the Football Association of Ireland in conjunction with its community partners will be supporting the European Football campaign against racism and discrimination.In the Republic of Ireland the FARE Week will focus on 3 levels; these will include a half time underage exhibition game at the Ireland v Cyprus match on the 15th of October 2008, with players drawn from children who have taken part in FAI grassroots programmes throughout 2008; represent the richness of cultural and ethnic diversity in Ireland.
