Lithuanian Association invites you to Tennis, Basketball and Football event

In July 2010 Lithuanians, Polish and other Europeans will celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald (the Battle of Žalgiris).

It was one the most important battles in Europe in the 15th Century when the Lithuanian – Polish alliance won over the Teutonic Order, which precipitated historic changes across Europe.

To commemorate this significant date, the Lithuanian Association in Ireland in co-operation with the Lithuanian Embassy in Ireland is organising an International Sports Tournament. The official partner of the tournament is Basketball Ireland.

The tournament will take place from the 2nd to the 4th of July, 2010 in Dublin. The nations that were involved in the Grunwald battle are invited to participate in the following:

Tennis tournament: 2nd – 4th July, 2010, Mountpleasant Tennis Club, Ranelagh, Dublin 6.
